Get Arsenic Out of Our Food

Dear Cristina,

Thank you for sending a message to the FDA to regulate the amounts of arsenic in our food. It seems ludicrous that we have to ask that it be regulated, but the truth is that if we don’t speak out, government and industry won’t be moved to deal with this health risk.

Will you ask three friends to join you in asking the FDA to get arsenic out of our food? »

We have great power as consumers to demand industry change. We just need a powerful, unified voice, so the more signatures we get, the stronger our case.

Please help spread the word and make food safer for all of us. You can send a message with ourtell-a-friend tool, post the petition to yourFacebook profiletweet it or copy and send the sample message below:

Hi –

A recent investigation found troubling levels of arsenic in many of the 200 rice products tested, everything from brown rice to infant cereal.

If we want to get arsenic out of our food, we have to tell the FDA it must start regulating arsenic, which is known to increase risk of cancer.

The FDA could easily regulate the amounts of arsenic in food through simple, practical steps.

Please sign this petition and join me in telling the FDA to protect us from arsenic in our food.

Thanks!

Thanks for taking action!
