The Summer Lady?

Some of us are ready to send our kids to sleep away camp and for some of us, that’s far off.  I was on the JCC’s website today looking around after I bought my Joanie Leeds tickets and stumbled on this and thought it was interesting to share and keep in mind for the future:

about the summer lady

Ann Travis founded The Summer Lady camp and program advisory service over 20 years ago and today with her husband, Dick, they help families find the perfect sleepaway camp or teen travel/ specialty experience for their children, ages 7 to 20. They personally discuss with each family their child’s needs and recommend the camps and programs that will best meet those needs. They provide each family with the brochures and dvds for each program that they recommend and discuss the differences between them. They travel extensively each summer visiting camps to monitor their quality and make sure that they maintain the highest standards. In addition to finding summer camps for children, their Camp to Campus division helps parents find the appropriate program for their teenagers. Ann and Dick are available at any time during the year to help a family with any additional requests or questions.
