Cooking class for expectant parents in Brooklyn – Pass Along

Through my work with UJA-Federation, we gave grant money to Hazon to pilot this program which is sure to spread nation-wide, probably world-wide. We can all gather around food and find common ground, especially when expecting a baby. I joined 1 session of the first series and was so impressed with the delicious recipes and also the soulful conversations that took place while cooking and eating the fresh, nutritious food. Participants go home each week with homemade food to put in their freezer for after the baby is born.

Please share this with any friends expecting a baby or who have a child 0-2 years old and who live in Brooklyn. And stay tuned for an expansion to other neighborhoods. You heard it here first! (and covered in the Jewish Week!)
