Survey about Taxi Safety for Kids in NYC

There are only a few days left for the Car Seat Lady to gather her survey results so please fill this in if you ever take NYC taxis!
When we took Mia to Berlin when she was younger, every taxi had a car seat that we could use and I never understood why NYC, the World’s City, wasn’t up to date on this important taxi "trend". The survey is short and important since she will have the TLC’s ear!

Thanks, Charlotte for bringing this my attention!

Hi All:

A parent in our co-op community has brought to my attention a survey about cab safety for kids in NYC, the results of which will be conveyed to the Taxi and Limousine Commission – specifically, if you have young children, use cabs and would like to see car seats and/or booster seats available in them in the future to increase your children’s safety during cab rides, here’s an opportunity to voice your opinion. It’s a short survey (it takes less than 5 minutes to complete) and could have a real impact on how seriously the TLC takes this issue, as cost considerations are invariably raised and weighed in the overall calculus of how important it is, or isn’t, to make sure that young children riding in cabs are sufficiently protected. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey (which can be done anonymously) on line, which can be found here:

Thanks!
